Instructions

Preparation

1. Protective Gear: Wear protective gloves, safety goggles, and a mask or respirator to avoid skin contact and inhalation of fumes.
2. Workspace: Ensure your work area is well-ventilated and cover surfaces with drop cloths to protect them from accidental foam contact.
3. Surface Preparation: Clean the surface you are applying the foam to, making sure it is free of dust, dirt, and grease.

Application

1. Shake the Can: Shake the can vigorously for at least 30 seconds to mix the components thoroughly.
2. Attach the Nozzle: Attach the provided applicator nozzle or straw securely to the can’s valve.
3. Test Spray: Perform a test spray on a piece of scrap material to familiarize yourself with the foam’s flow rate and expansion properties.
4. Apply the Foam:
   • Hold the can upside down and press the trigger to release the foam.
   • Fill the void or gap by applying the foam slowly, filling about 50% of the space to allow for expansion.
   • For best results, apply the foam in layers, allowing each layer to expand and cure before applying the next.

Curing

1. Allow to Cure: Let the foam cure according to the manufacturer’s instructions, typically a few hours to overnight. Avoid touching the foam during this time.
2. Trimming: Once cured, use a utility knife to trim any excess foam.
3. Sanding: If a smoother finish is desired, sand the foam lightly after trimming.

Clean Up

1. Cleaning the Nozzle: Clean the applicator nozzle immediately after use with acetone or the recommended solvent to prevent clogging.
2. Disposal: Dispose of the empty canister and any used materials according to local regulations.

• Ventilation: Use the foam in a well-ventilated area to avoid inhaling fumes.
• Fire Safety: Keep the foam away from open flames and sources of ignition, as it is flammable.
